Managing album inventory across all your bundle options can seem very tough, but luckily, you have vyb to help! We track all your sales and with our tools you can easily control your inventory. Here are four examples of things you can do with vyb’s inventory tracking.
- Set limits for bundle offers
- Limit the number of presales, especially if it is a limited edition.
- Simple update of master inventory that re-enables all your sold-out bundles.
- Choose unlimited sales options to maximize sales opportunities
Initial Setting of Inventory

When you are setting up your album sale, you can set an initial total stock. For example, setting a total stock on this vinyl to the left will drive inventory for all the single vinyl sales and bundles that include that vinyl.
Updating Inventory

First navigate to My Created Music in the Dashboard, in the action menu found on the very right, click “View Sales Data”

Click the inventory tab to show your inventory numbers

Next, to change the total inventory for that vinyl, click the number, in this case, the 500.
The default is to add to the inventory. So for example, if you’ve pressed another 500, go ahead and add 500 units. Alternatively, you can set the total.
Changing Pre-order and and Release Limits

In the same manner, you can adjust the pre-order or release limits of the standalone album sales or a bundle that includes that physical format.
In general, we recommend that you do not set a release limit and let the inventory system limit sales when you’ve sold your entire inventory. In that manner you only need to change one number.
You don’t need to overthink and optimize all the numbers. Put the number of albums you’ve pressed into your total inventory number and let your fans choose to buy them in bundles or standalone. The customer is always right!!!
